dang jealous. massages are always an extremely appealing thing to me Mary. I in retrospect think one reason (well there were many) I stayed with John 15 years were the tremendous back/body massages every night. sometimes 2 hours yup. Past experiences with men.. 3 —5 minutes and (are you ready for sex) LOL. Hope the transfusion went well. Due to my van being covered in snow (and we still have a lot) I missed my two infusions. I go to the oncology center at a hospital .. part of University Hospitals. They and Cleveland Clinic are the two mega hospital in NE Ohio. It is about an hour from Jenny’s condo and in a beautiful rural area (in snow belt however) NE of where we are.

I had a bit of good news from my body..visual.

I last fall .. LAST like 2019— did a lot of beaded jewelry work in prep for a few parties (like Tupperware) for selling & income. Nov and Dec I was so sick could hardy walk, didn’t eat, couldn’t breath. In hospital for Christmas. ALL parties/sales aborted. MANY big issues.. pharmaceutically helped. the point I want to make is NOT ‘’’’ feel sorry for my past”””.. but the months prior to being so sick when I was doing jewelry it was a struggle to see. Could not see close (I am and always have been myopic) I borrowed Jenny’s strong glasses and had some help.

Pulled out my jewelry items today to hopefully revive some sales & parties. (I REALLY need income and have nice stuff)..The many boxes which were formerly in my studio are packed away in plastic bins and I really have no work area.. my bed is covered... BUT... my eyesight was great... I mean really great. No glasses.. just my eyes and the work. I have been on a few eye supplements. Use special drops. now have glasses that filter sun and computer “bad stuff”. cried with gratefulness to God. I am pretty sure there is no improvement with the macular degeneration (which gets progressively worse - not better) but my eyesight for the close work was really great. I attached the earring findings on a couple dozen pair of holiday earrings I made last year . Im now going to work on doing the patriotic line.. “clutch your pearls” that I did.. This is not fancy gems/minerals. Fun costume jewelry. glass, crystal, some good metals, some vintage plastic .. much in my signature asymmetrical line.

I really think this and the Norwex is where God wants me. Obviously with the major back/breathing issues a corporate anything job is out of question.

so will just see where this take me

thanks everyone for all the info you are sharing. A few nights ago Jen asked me what I think about .. (add any number of names). I told her I don’t go crazy following every event/revelation/good or fake news with worry. It does me NO good, doesn’t change anything. She nodded in agreement. I want to keep somewhat informed but know that there is a much bigger picture than any of us probably know and we know evil is strong. Our Lord is the eventual “winner” but for now the evil forces and Satan have much more control than we’d like ( (apocalyptic ) literature is resplendent with that reality)

Wes, thanks for new thread and glad your infusion went well.. break for another half year.. You are so much in demand. I won’t even ask if you’ll be on my dance card... LOL (but I guess Gub is the dancer anyway)

Do you have an online catalog for your jewelry?

Can’t really comment on all the jewelry business, but I’m real glad your eyesight is better!
And yes, save a dance on your card for me. I’m not too bad.

I enjoy having you drop in when you can.

As far as the Macular Degeneration there is no cure but taking LUTIEN will SLOW the progression way down.

My husband was diagnosed with it probably in his 70’s. His eye doctor told him to take Lutien. But the eye doctor wanted to sell him something that was mostly other vitamins and some Lutien. Instead we opted for 20mg of the straight Lutien. Since he passed at 90 his didn’t appear to have progressed at all in 20 yrs. as he could see distance real well after cataract surgery but did need glasses to read.

From what I understand of Macular D you will get areas in the eye that are like dark spots where you can’t see whatever is in that rein of vision.
