“Does anyone know anything about ham radio?”
Here is what I know about ham radios. Back in the 80’s I was managing my fathers trailer court. I rented one of the trailers to a young couple who informed me they had a Ham radio and would that be ok. I told them as long as it didn’t interrupt anyone.
I had a small black & white TV in my bedroom. One night as I was asleep a BRIGHT light woke me up out of my sleep and then I started hearing faint voices. I thought I was being invaded by Aliens. :-) As I was listening I realized I was hearing the voices of the young couple with the Ham radio. As I listened closer I could hear that they WERE TORMENTING TRUCK DRIVERS. I confronted them with what they were doing and told them they were out of there.
That’s awful! Why would someone do that? Good for you for kicking them out. We pick up some strange things on the scanner when we camp on our hunting property. It backs up to a national forest and we were told by the owner of the adjacent property that there are always some drug dealers and other nefarious things going on in the national forest.
