It also occurs to me that one could have such masks ready to go and to give out to people, such as strangers who are about to head out into a store and reach into their pocket and purse for their mask and say, “Damn. I forgot my stupid mask in the car.”
I have just given myself something to do today— shop for mask makings.
I already long ago took care of ordering and receiving protest masks, but I don’t want to spend the money I did on those just to give them away.
Well, I wouldn’t take something from a complete stranger and put it on my face, any more than I’d put on underwear handed to me by a stranger, but maybe that’s just me.
