Image released by the China National Space Administration on December 4, 2020 shows China's national flag unfurled from the Chang'e-5 probe on the moon. The image was taken by a panoramic camera installed on the lander-ascender combination of the probe, before the ascender blasted off from the moon with lunar samples late Thursday.
Wonder if the Flag was made in China.
Officially territory of the South China Sea now.
3 inch flag installed by a robot doesn’t count for much.
Well possession is 9/10th’s of the law. That and the United States apparently has no national will to explore the solar system beyond low earth orbit.
How cute. Now, how long has the American flag been there?
Now How do we know that flag was actually photographed while it was on the moons surface? For all we know it could have been photographed in a ChiCom movie studio.
Just doin’ what white people did over 50 years ago.
And at gunpoint.
And using slaves.
And while releasing worldwide disease.
What a country!
(America’s dead in Korea and Vietnam cry out.)
Is Bill Clinton’s face on the back side????
When he ran for his second term, he sold a major portion of our missle technology to the Chicoms for cash to run his campaign.
Unprecedented? Seriously? Our lander safely touched down, with men aboard, then left the surface and successfully docked with atmospheric module.
Maybe unprecedented for China.
Not impressed. We did it 51 years ago.
The US did this IN PERSON over 50 years ago.
In other news, Bill Clinton was honored in Beijing as “Chief of Space Operations Research” for providing priceless (free) information key to keep rockets from tumbling after launch.
Hey Xi, you’re a bit late. The US laid its claim there a few generations ago.
We should sent and interspace cruise missile to destroy it!
I’m surprised there aren’t containers of lost Biden ballots in those photos.
