Well, today, Dec 4th, is the day of the earliest sunset in the northern hemisphere.

From today until June, we will be having more daylight in the evenings.

Might be off by a day or so because 2020 was a leap year.

Here is a website for finding sunset times in various cities.

The link shows sunset time for the District of Columbia. Sunset is 4:45 pm. To see your city, type your location in the box in the upper right hand corner.

The link also shows weather and times around the world - very useful when you’re traveling abroad. (We’ll be able to do that again some day.)
