Who died during the ‘accident’?

Edward Douglas an American cryptographer during WWI died on the Hindenburg.
And Douglas’ office was in Frankfurt, in the same building as Goebbel’s Ministry of Propaganda where he was harassed by the Gestapo for refusing to fire his Jewish secretary. The building was 56 Neue Mainzer Strasse.
Just did a very quick scan of the passenger list.

Looks like 3 of the passengers were in the “Air Ministry” and 2 of them died. Don’t know if that’s significant....
