Thanks to all for your information. I feel much better and definitely like Newsmax better than Fox now - and they were our go to news source for several years. I'm “Elkie” and while I haven't been posting I ALWAYS read FreeRepublic - I found Jim during the 2000 election and haven't left since then.
David Michael Lynch has a blog and podcast - he's a liberation I think and usually a straight shooter - has strong opinions which I usually agree with. That's why when he made the statement about Chris I was concerned. Although I've read Newsmax for years - now they are our TV news source.

Yes, Free Republic is one of my favorite sites. I think I read
somewhere that if a guest appears on Newsmax they will NOT be welcome i.e.,banned at FOX news. A sick policy. No wonder FOX is going in the toilet.
