This is not the common cold. For most people it is a minor illness but for some it is devastating. Fortunately we are getting better at treating those who become very ill and no lockdowns and masks do not help. There should not be fearmongering but neither should it be underestimated.
You know a few people who got it, and a few died? So they all died?

Those very first covid videos out of CHYna were like bad actor movies. What a joke the U.S.A. being in a psychological concentration camp. I remember a guy on a gurney shaking like a snake on an icicle tree.

We have several fiends that work in the two big hospitals in our county. Both are almost at 100% full because of covid patients. There having to send all types of other patients to other hospitals it of the Country but are being told those hospitals are starting to fill up.
But sure keep believing this is no worse than the flu.

It happened. In China. Before they had any kind of methods for treating the disease.
It was thought at first that covid made the eyes bleed. Turned out that they were bleeding because the person suddenly became unconscious from a stroke or heart attack and dropped face-forward in the street, damaging their eyes.
Well, if CNN is saying it, we should really sit up and take note....

We have twice as many COVID inpatients this morning as our previous peak in early May 2020. And our criteria for admission are much stricter than in the Spring.
You’re wrong. Those people don’t have covid you’re just making it up to get paid. /s. channeling some of our freeper brethren. Fortunately we are much better at treating it and for the most part people are not as sick as they were in the spring

There actually is a middle ground. You can believe the virus is real, different, highly contagious and deadly in specific small groups. And at the same time you can believe our government at all levels, advised by our supposed greatest medical minds, has handled the response all wrong
We already know what decrepit CNN is does, reads, and thinks.
It is wise to keep your eyes on the prize and to not obsess over the enemy which tends to make him loom large in your mind the way the giants looked to the ten unfaithful spies for Israel who “made the heart of the people melt”.
Only Joshua and Caleb had “a different spirt” - one that looked to the Lord and said the giants were bread for them. When it was time to enter the land 40 years later, Joshua and Caleb took ‘em.

The understanding of the danger is low. The virus is taking less and less time to double in victims. It’s basically the monstrous epidemiology of this disease that is poorly understood. When it gets out of control, it is just that, out of control.
And I would add that the greatest friend of this virus is the Freudian defense mechanism of fantasy, in modern parlance applicable to the present situation, denial.
