I hope they got the license number of the pick up with the Federal Mail in it.

Boring mundane stuff. Does that truck belong to a federal agency? If so it should not have a BIDEN sticker on it. So, conclusion is correct, the truck is not Federal Property.

So, the boxes are probably stolen from the USPS. So there is at least a minor theft of federal property. if a Fed prosecutor had the will to charge someone with something to hold them for a day until they made bail.

Who is driving, to where, and what are the box contents? Whatever they are there is a total lack of security for the contents! (A passerby at a stop light could jump in and run off with a box!) All USPS mail delivery trucks,1/2 ton or mini vans have to be securable and secured when the driver is not in the vehicle, which this pickup is not. (I know, boring stuff.)

So, is it some guy who worked at the USPS who keeps his belongings in USPS Alligator board boxes and is moving to a new apartment? Or the business documents of some Stoner startup on their way to a storage locker?

Or... AZ State Employee? AZ Democrat poll worker off to the shredding faculty? Or? AZ Democrat official with boxes of Biden-Ballots on their way to a local school or church polling center to be miraculously discovered? So very suspicious in this election season!

Just some thoughts. Like a lot of things we discuss need additional info. (Sigh. I am such a boring downer on these things. Sorry.)

RE: "Isn't the Transportation of Federal Mail in a privately-owned vehicle against the law?"

The mail bins in the back of that pickup truck in the photo are called Mail Transport Equipment (MTE). They are used to deliver bulk mail to businesses.

They are supposed to be returned to the post office but many are not returned and they get diverted to private uses, such as handy storage containers.

"The Postal Service is leaking $50 million every year because of losing "equipment used for deliveries,"

"You're supposed to leave those bins for collection the next day. Of course, that's never enforced. And so, the $4 bins become lost to the Postal Service forever, and it has to make new ones. You can find them just about anywhere..."
