While she has a somewhat valid point, Sydney's case has a much lower threshold than a criminal case (beyond reasonable doubt) and is severely expedited.

In addition, I have seen criminal cases take 2 to 3 years from start to plea or start to trial. I'm sure some attorneys can vouch for that. We aren't dealing with the average stupid criminal here either, but rather masterminds of hiding crimes and top paid defense attorneys.

IIRC, Rudy worked the case against the mob for about 3 years before ever bringing the RICO case to trial. This case is bigger than that and has more players and countries to deal with.
