While she has a somewhat valid point, Sydney's case has a much lower threshold than a criminal case (beyond reasonable doubt) and is severely expedited.

In addition, I have seen criminal cases take 2 to 3 years from start to plea or start to trial. I'm sure some attorneys can vouch for that. We aren't dealing with the average stupid criminal here either, but rather masterminds of hiding crimes and top paid defense attorneys.
