“Counting big horn sheep with DWR this week. During the counts we came across this, in the middle of nowhere, buried deep in the rock. Inquiring minds want to know, what the heck is it?"

What do they mean "buried deep in the rock"? Do they mean it was actually buried underground, or that it was found "among the rocks" "deep" in the wilderness? If the former, how would they ever find it on a sheep-counting mission? Somehow I sniff a hoax.

By buried they mean....it was placed there by human hands and likely there is some kind of foundation which proves it.
