President Donald Trump's efforts to overturn Democrat Joe Biden's vote totals are "inconsistent with our democratic process," Republican Sen. Lisa Murkowki said on Sunday, emphasizing that "it is time to begin the full and formal transition process," Axios reported.
The Alaska senator became one of the few congressional Republicans to acknowledge Biden as the "president-elect," as the Trump campaign continues its legal efforts to challenge the results in key swing states that gave the former vice president the victory in the election.
