In the 1960s a subset of the Boomer generation ("hippies") fought court battles for the right to wear t-shirts like this:

Time after time, the argument was won on 1st Amendment grounds, "The government can't tell anyone what they can or can't wear!"

This led the culture to embrace almost anything in clothing fashion. Including THIS current t-shirt:

Everyone would agree that this _too_ is protected as free speech under the 1st Amendment.
The government can't tell anyone what they can or can't wear, right?
Right?
RIGHT?

America, what's up with this?

Posted at @1773Project, too.
