I'd never heard it claimed that Jesus was resurrected on Saturday! Being Sunday falls properly in line with Sunday universally being called "The Lord's Day" among Christians. In bible times, of course, and among the Jews, a day begins at nightfall before a midnight that most gentiles would call the start of a new day, as taught in Genesis 1:5.

One largely looming element you missed is the 17th Book of the Bible, Esther, with its huge turn-around over Israel's captors, celebrated in Purim among the Jews.

So true! Also, the book of Esther is about the authority of the church over Satan (represented by Haman). Esther knew what was decreed against her people, so she begged the king for her people to be spared, in the presence of Haman, and he gave the Jews the right to defend themselves. Just like Jesus said, “I have given you the authority to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the works of the enemy.”
