Several lawmakers from California have fled to a lavish conference in Maui, Hawaii this week, while the state threatens the public with strict new lockdown measures if "stay at home" guidelines are not obeyed. CA officials are in Maui for an annual legislative convention — despite rising COVID-19 cases that led Gov. Gavin Newsom, a Democrat, to threaten a statewide curfew on Monday.

Keep voting Democrat.

Californian's often vote Republican, but the Democrats just toss those or convert those votes to Democrats at the counting centers. You know, just like in Philidelphia, Atlanta, Phoenix, etc. Dems are not voted in anymore, they are installed. Not a bug, now a feature.

"Dems are not voted in anymore, they are installed. Not a bug, now a feature."

Yes, I've been thinking that's been happening in Ca. for a while.

A few years ago, they had the stupid measure to get rid of plastic grocery bags ,(and force everyone to use bacteria laden re-usable ones), on the ballot in Cali.

It supposedly passed. But, everywhere I went, after they enforced it, people were grumbling about it. They HATED it.

I spent some time asking around casually, if anyone had voted for it.

Not one person said they did. Everyone complained about it instead, when asked

Since then, and given the criminality of the dem party-Have ANY of them been legitimately elected anywhere?

I thought Hawaii was closed to outside visitors.

I guess that ended.

Doesn’t Hawaii still have the 14-day quarantine for any visitors from the mainland? Why go to Hawaii, instead of San Diego? Same same without a plane ride

It’s so gratifying to know that the two of you are enjoying a symbiotic relationship.

Everybody needs a friend.
