In the Book of Genesis, there was no death until man sinned. Then a sacrifice had to be made to atone for man’s rebellion against God. Rather than kill Adam, God provided a substitute. Adam and Eve received this substitute and were forgiven and clothed with righteousness by God. At some point their oldest son Cain refused God’s provision for his sin and would not bring a sacrifice. He wouldn’t accept God’s sacrifice, but killed brother in an act of jealousy and hatred.
Every time we eat a cheeseburger, the Gospel is in this act. Something has to die for us to live. Jesus substitution for us on the cross being the ultimate fulfillment of this Gospel

"... to question the ethics of the cultured meat industry.". Ah. So they knew people would be repulsed, their claim that it's not canibalism is a lie and they know it, they did it specifically to repulse people so we'd somehow want to give up bacon.
Is it Korea or China the meat markets have human meat marked special?.
Everything is being tainted by these evil doers. Soon we will have to grow all our own foods to be sure we know what we are actually eating.
Soilent Green may not be too far off in the future as we think.
