The jumping around at least on iPad/safari is due to a long line in a post. Turning the iPad to landscape mode avoids the problem.

I had the same problem and I was already on landscape. It also affected my ability to make a post that had proper formatting (post 208).

I have encountered the jumping screen phenomenon with my iPad in the past. I usually turn to landscape to make reading easier, which may explain why I haven't seen that issue in a while.
