Hi Dolly, it AMAZES ME when I hear of people living in the SAME house almost a whole lifetime.
When I married Feb.1959 we lived in 4 rentals in WA State then we moved to CA.in July 1961 rented a house for 6 months then bought our 1st house in 1962. Sold it in 64, bought another one, lived in it until we bought our last house in CA. in 1969. Sold it and moved back to WA in 1979 and lived with family for 6 months. Bought our 1st house here in 1980 and have bought and lived in 3 more. Last house bought was 2006.
So that is 12 moves we have made in 47 years and not even Military. :-) We did live in 1 house 10 years and another for 20 though
I hope you will be able to catch the rally OK. I am going to try. I am not able to multitask and watch like some here are able to do.
There was man in a church I attended who spent every night of his life in the same house. He was very old when he died.
