Took that picture this morning. The crew arrived before dawn and were busy up on the roof. As meditation I’ve asked myself what is the message the carpenter (as role of caretaker of baby Jesus) sending today. Today it was FEAR NOT. Stepping just on the edge of 2x4s they walked where they needed to go to create the foundation needed for the metal roof.
Not looking down or wobbling. They stood strong in the most perilous situation. Even though high above the ground, They believed ! God IS in control. Joseph had that same strength. He boldly took on the responsibility of caring for the Son of God. The Shepard’s were told to “fear not”, but the carpenter knew instinctively what he was to do
Remember that when you start to wobble. Gods got this. Stand strong like the carpenter !
This is a great story about a chapel in New Mexico.
Stairway built without nails.
They say it was St. Joseph who built it.
