Looks so inviting. We will probably eat in the camper. If the roof had been on plane were to picnic in the new house. BUT The theme this year is “keep it simple”. Turkey breast in crockpot, green bean casserole and dressing in the toaster oven instant mash potatoes.
Bought three desserts one like apple pie another peach cobbler Bought a small pumpkin pie thinking that it would be something I could easily eat. Tried a small piece tonight. OMG. It was diabetic. No sugar. But what it contains is demonic. I’ve run to restroom over a dozen times. Worked faster and stronger than a Fleet enema
Sis called! My BIL was once head of Mrs Smiths Pies. He knew immediately the ingredient doing this thing — a high concentration of my nemesis SOY. No more pah for me. Will try some cottage cheese in AM

Soy in pies? That is not right. Very not right. We’re only having two desserts offered, one pumpkin pie and the other pumpkin cheesecake bars. If possible, we have a fancy sit-down dinner, dressy. But, the sports part of the celebration will be watching the Auburn University b’ball play our opening game. ALL present are Auburn family.

The first Thanksgiving celebration involved THREE DAYS of eating, worship, and sports. We maintain that tradition.

That happened to me once,I ate some of my friend’s diabetic pudding and she hadn’t warned me about the effects of it.
