Barr’s investigations guidance as tepid. Note what Barr actually said: “most allegations of purported election misconduct are of such a scale that they would not impact the outcome of an election and, thus, investigation can appropriately be deferred...”.

He merely (quoting his own words) “authorized investigations into irregularities...as I have already done in specific instances” and concluded that “fanciful or far-fetched claims should not be a basis for initiating federal inquiries”.

You are right putting ‘resigned’ in quotes. Pilger simply relocated to another division where he can continue to use taxpayer funded resources to advance the interests of the Deep State. The DOJ, like many other federal agencies, has been politically weaponized.

You miss read Barrs statement. The statement was that things which would not shift the election will be sidelined until after the certification, but WILL be investigated and prosecuted then.

What you did not quote was things 5hat involve fraud WILL be investigated now, even before certification.

Barr opened the flood gates by bypassing the guy holding the doors shut.
