I wouldn’t go that far, but I’d agree that the application of the term has been misused in a way to benefit the ruling class :-). Confirmation bias is *never* applied to liberals. Never.
It’s used exactly the same way “conspiracy theory” is used to shut down investigations or discussion into leftist bad acts.

That’s the way I meant to phrase it. Using a new spellchecker gizmo and it changed it to “... a conspiracy...”. Well, honestly, I changed it because I thought I’d spelled conspiracy wrong and didn’t pay attention to the change made.
Are conspiracy theories always false?
