You might also ask why (right at this juncture) the head of the NNSA (responsible for the physical security of our nukes) just "resigned" a day or two ago;

why Eric Schmidt (former head of Google) just applied for foreign citizenship (Cyprus, I think?);

why Pilger, the DOJ guy responsible for Election Integrity, just resigned the same day Attorney General Barr gave the all-clear for DOJ prosecutors to go after election fraud, not waiting for the customary 10-day window, nor until results are certified.
