That raises questions. If the election for a state is invalidated, that also invalidates the house and senate races in those states, doesn’t it. At least that’s what I think I read somewhere.
So theoretically, that would mean that the House on Jan 3 would be constituted differently than we have been thinking?

If a state is taken out of the election the 270 is no longer the magic number. The new magic number would be half of the new total of all electoral votes. So 536 less the state electoral votes that got disqualified. E.g. Pa gets disqualified with its 20 electoral votes. So the total electoral count goes to 516. So to win, a candidate must have half of 516 plus one: 259.
That was presented as FACT in answer to your query in 319.
So once again I ask (correctly)...Do you too think the number of Electoral College votes can change from 538 to 516?
