Is this a statement or are you asking for suggestions?

I’d say my current lists would go like this:

Classig Prog:
Rush
Yes
Kansas
Saga (especially early)
King Crimson
Genesis
ELP
(And not quite as prog, but fun - Asia/GTR/3/other Yes/Genesis/KC/etc spinoffs)

“Modern”
Dream Theater
Queensryche (esp Mindcryme/Empre)
Kamelot
Nightwish
Epica

“Modern/fun, but not quite so prog” (to me at least)
Pride of Lions
Work of Art
Lionville
(These have more of the 80’s melodic/semi-prog sound if you are into that sort of thing)

“with a touch (or so) of Jesus”
Neal Morse
Transatlantic (check out Whirlwind)
Kerry Livgren/AD (formerly of Kansas)

Did I miss any?

Oh, and by the way, if there’s anything I might have missed, do let me know. The prog spigot has been pretty dry these days, and waiting for the next Kamelot release might be a while. :)

Neal Morse is *off-scale*. Alive Again is an utter masterpiece.

(OK, admittedly, he was great in TransAtlantic too.)

But here's another Jesus-tinged one you forgot/might not have heard of: more Celtic and some fusion with the prog.

Iona (JoAnne Hogg on vocals.)

Flight of the Wild Goose (Instrumental, takes awhile to get started.) And yes that's Nick Beggs on the Chapman Stick.

Inside My Heart (Live). Dave Bainbridge *owns* the guitar at the end.

If you can find it, get their album Journey Into the Morn. You won't regret it.
