decades?"

Maybe in dog years.

.

You're saying is that FR is trustworthy. Yes it is. It's trustworthy because of its design. People link to published articles (mostly). But is is not even close to what Parler is already -- IF you consider who is posting on Parler - and no longer on FR. No - the mention of some of those names brings a whole boatload of crap from Freepers. Haters, really. And I'm talking about "names" who are fighting the good fight on levels that are Waaay Higher than FR.

Once a Great place. Now a good place.

It'll be interesting to see who gets silenced or booted from Parler - and WHY.

Personally, I've had an account here since March 1998 (not this one but my original, now closed account.) I've seen this site evolve and change over time. I still use it every day but I've learned not to say anything that will upset the mods.

I joined Parler this weekend because I have always been suspicious of FB and Twitter. I am happy to support an alternative that allows conservative views on a scale approaching (and I hope one day, surpassing) that of FB and Twitter.

Savvy?

I hope you can continue to trust ‘parler’.

I’ve seen a lot of good ideas go very south, over the lifetime of the Internet.
