Thanks for posting this info about mewe.com, I just might take a look at it. My account at Fakebook is in some sort of purgatory, from non-use. Tried to get logged about a year or so ago, and was told basically that I would have to re-join or something to that effect, so I just let it go at that. Whenever I did use it in the remote past, it was only to communicate with a few relatives, or visit some retail establishments. mewe might be interesting.

When I learned how flaming liberal some of my second cousins are I quit using Facebook entirely.

Friend is doing it just because they are sick and tired of listening to the constant ignorant leftist nonsense- they are doing it for their own peace of mind- not because they have any concerns about losing a voice on a social networking site infested with ugly hate from the left-

Most of my cousins are great, but, you know, peace in the family can require sacrifices — so I stay away from Facebook, twitter & all that...
