BS! In boot camp I didn't have to buy cigarettes for a while because I swapped sewing on patches, etc. for packs of cigarettes.
We had one guy would couldn't even fold his own clothes and he was 25 years old.
He cost us dearly in locker inspections even after six weeks of many of us trying to help him out.
We ironed creases into his one set of inspection uniform and he still screwed it up.
You're taught it, but some people never learned from the teaching.
