Ayn Rand had a phrase: the sanction of the victim. She basically said many people cave in, and therefore give up without a fight. I believe many of us have no intention of giving legitimacy to our own disenfranchisement.
That said, let me state - with no subordination to the importance of this fiasco before us, and with a full understanding of the interconnections of visible and invisible downfield ramifications - I have zero intention of looking like the idiots from 4 years ago that screamed at the sky after Hillary lost.
Yea, she lost fair and square and that's not happening here. But weeping and gnashing of teeth is unbecoming, and while MacArthur announced that he and his family intended to "share the fate of the garrison" on Corregidor, he ultimately left.
It may be time to re-focus on mall storefronts such as that "owned" by SunkenCiv. Indeed, it will be necessary to have clarity of mind to address things if they don't work out as they should over the next few weeks; reading about catastrophic things, glyphs, and generally anything other than this madness could be the elixir needed over the next four years.
...and let's not forget, Mac did return.

“while MacArthur announced that he and his family intended to “share the fate of the garrison” on Corregidor, he ultimately left.”
Reliable sources say that he had written out and signed his resignation, and was preparing to ride over to Bataan to enlist and fight as a private, when his wife took him into a room for a little chat. Apparently no one knows what she said, but when they emerged he obeyed his orders from President Roosevelt.
“anything other than this madness could be the elixir needed over the next four years.”
After four years of leftwad misrule, the United States—which is to say, truth, justice, and the American way—will have disappeared from the surface of this planet for a thousand years.
