Q. What is a “canvass” in regards to making an election official? What is the difference between a canvass and a recount? A. A canvass is required by state law and is used to determine that the votes have been counted and tabulated correctly.

ThankQ - I am inclinded to believe recanvas is appropriate vs. simple recount, too. They need to review each ballot. A meme needs to be made comparing the Gore people inspecting ballots with a magnifying glass compared to the lack of transparency in Detroit + PA where they covered up the windows.
