I think saying that children are born evil is maybe too emotionally charged

Let me try this slide. Thanks to Adams action we are born with a fallen nature and it manifests itself early (This is mine!) in a life of a child. I remember lying to a childhood friend at about 7 or 8 years of age for no good reason. If mankind was not fallen Jesus Christ would not have needed to give Himself as payment for our sins. So glad He did.

Here’s the point: They are NOT born evil or good. They are born dependent and innocent.

Where they go from there, and why is not relevant to the point.
