We hit 33 yesterday morning, and forecast for the same tonight. It’s 67 inside now, soon to be 66, which is where I set the thermostat. I think in a couple of weeks, I’ll get the really thick blankets out of the closet and rig for winter sleeping.
We’ve had a few nights of frost, but in Mo. this time of the year, it doesn’t usually last that long. Tomorrow, I have to finish planting the garlic, and some winter wheat and straw mulch. Patio clean up too. We have at least a couple of nice days left this week to get the out door chores done.
We never turn on the heat till after the first week in Nov. Just add another layer of clothes and a space heater on low. Kitchen was @ 68 degrees a few hrs. ago, but I keep the heater next to my desk-so it’s a bit warmer.
