If it was a true “canary trap” Tucker would have said nothing.
OTOH, if it was a trap laid for another media group, it would be to their advantage to call out the supposed bona fides of the document as being lost.
This might explain the trap: Documents composed that appear to debunk Bobulinski or Guo’s evidence of crimes.
If this is the plan, then we wait to see which media group comes out with a “gotcha” article that supports some level of debunking.
I’m watching the Wall Street Journal’s current arc of coverage.
