These young Black girls should have been celebrating the first Black woman on the Supreme Court.
Instead, as the confirmation of Amy Coney Barrett was well on its way, these girls all 100 of them got dressed up in judicial robes to launch a protest.
Honor Her Wish, their little masks read.
Her wish, of course, was Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburgs dying request that her seat wouldnt be filled until after the election. Joe Biden has pledged to put a Black woman on the Supreme Court if he wins in November.
But President Trump and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnells hypocritical move to fill Ginsburgs seat a mere eight days before the election means the 100 Black girls who have never seen a Black woman on the court will see instead a woman who looks nothing like them helping to decide huge issues in their futures.

I do not think these little girls rented their own robes, and staged their own demonstration. Oh, and how nice! they all have that frilly junk that RBG had on her robes.
Staged by the Wapos? Or DNCs. Same people who come in U-hauls with the signs for Antifa?
Totally staged and paid for by Prog-leftists.
Good judge, but she's 71 years old and retired three years ago.
Not at all. Justice Thomas will likely retire next year and President Trump may will appoint a black woman to the seat.
Sure. Would they prefer Diamond or Silk?
LOLOL!
Yes. Janice Rogers a brown would be great but she’s 71 years old now.
“Is it too late to hope for a Black woman on the Supreme Court?”
Well there’s nothing that prevents you from “hoping” anytime you want, so no.
Justice Kagan could just start to “identify” as black, and presto!
That’s a dude in a blonde wig, right?
They are trying to rally their base after the brutal smack by SC Barrett confirmation!! This event deflated their election balloon!!! IMO! TIMING IS EVERYTHING!!!
Well, hey, we did have a great black woman destined for the Supreme Court, but Planned Parenthood did to her just as Planned Parenthood does to most black girls and boys in this country. Planned Parenthood killed her. If you wanted a different result, let us stop Planned Parenthood from killing babies. Let us recognize the right to life, applicable even to babies yet unborn.
Do others on this party line remember our advocacy for Janice Rogers Brown?
Give me a break. First whatever if irrelevant.
She retired from the circuit court in 2017
Ruth Bader Ginsburg would have never, NEVER put her personal will before the US Constitution. This whole “last wish” thing is pure bullsh!t. Think about it...RBG knew the constitution backwards and forwards. Moreover she knew her position is to protect it and the law absolutely and never her own personal feelings before it.
Did not know that. She would have made a great Supreme Court Justice.
I hope that all these little girls are working really hard in school and that they study study study, especially the constitution in law school, become lawyers, become judges and maybe someday one of them will be a supreme court justice. Please do not expect it though just because you would be the first in some category to become anything.
Gee whiz... Trump tried to get moochie to take the job, but she said she was too busy...
