I have seen a recent Trump campaign ad talking about getting through COVID together, being careful but not afraid. Anecdotally, I have seen this same phenomenon with some seniors.

COVID has dominated the news cycle for months. Most everyone is totally burned out hearing about the China flu. That's old s**t.

I have already voted for the President. From way out here in the bleacher seats I just want him to stay away from Defensive Counter Punches. Accentuate the positive of his accomplishments and future plans. Be the incumbent.

They want to see Trump flip the script for him to admit that COVID was a rough patch for his administration, express a determination to fix the problem, and then insist that now it's time to get the economy and the job market back on track. Which I believe is what he has been trying to do. His stated position is that we've turned the corner on COVID and are putting it behind is. He says that in 2021 the economic growth will be atmospheric. What the author is suggesting Trump is already doing.

He should greet Slojoe with “Hello, big guy!”
Nothing more need be said, really...
