And of course if any residents of nursing homes have one or more of those infections, “covid” will finish them.

Sometimes VRE too. Vancomycin-resistant enterococci. Easily spread from person to person- and goes like wild fire through nursing homes, once a case starts-according to my Mom’s doctor.

VRE can cause many types of infections (for example, bloodstream infection , urinary infection, abscesses, wound infections, pneumonia, heart infections [endocarditis], or meningitis)

Hospitals will isolate the patient, and health care workers wear PPE and dispose of it before going to another room.
