HAMILTON, Ohio (KAKE) - An Ohio sheriff is drawing national attention for a video in which he offered to help pay transportation cost for celebrities who said they'd leave the country if Donald Trump is re-elected president. Sheriff Richard K. Jones, starting Monday with a pair of social media posts, went viral again.
A release posted to Facebook said Butler County Sheriff Richard K. Jones "would like to extend an invitation to put money towards a one-way ticket for any celebrity that would like to leave the country this time around if President Trump is re-elected.
Among the recent celebrities looking to flee are Bruce Springsteen and Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee.
Hell, Ill even help them pack, the sheriff said.
He followed that up with a video.
These are mostly the same people who dont like police, that dont like first responders, the sheriff said. I hope you do leave.
Maybe you can make a better life there in that country, he said.

The C-5 was built to carry more cargo than any other plane. The C-5M can lift more than a quarter million pounds, and the approximately 34,000-cubic-foot cargo bay is large enough to contain one tank, six helicopters, or 24,844,746 ping pong balls. The gargantuan airplane can fly 5,524 miles with 120,000 pounds of cargo without refueling. With midair refueling, the C-5 has practically unlimited range.
I wonder if that would be enough Ping Pong Balls for Forrest Gump ?
No celebs have moved out of the country
despite promises to do so after 2016.
Stu Shostak does an internet talk show
where he interviews celebrities.Many
of them are liberal (he had the now-late Carl Reiner on) though some, like
Paul Peterson, are not. Shostak has
said, seemingly seriously, that
he may well move to Canada if Trump
wins again. “That would mean the end
of this show” as he literally has the celebs come to his home, in most cases.
He praised Obamacare after his wife Jeanine had a brain aneurysm (this was
before they married) and her care and
rehab were covered. A documentary
is on the way about it.
So....will Shostak move?
Yes..I guess they could argue, “Well,
they speak English in Canada”.
The example I gave of internet talk host Stu Shostak...he lives in Chatsworth CA.
Hey, he’s a lot closer to Mexico
than Canada.Less driving those moving
vans.
