About 50 and damp. Kathleen is more comfortable than I am.
Kids don’t feel the cold and damp like we do. I used to go outside barefoot in snow. It never bothered me.
Now? No thanks. The older I get, the less I like the cold.
My head feels all stuffed with too much Jell-O or something. It’s not really a headache, but it’s not NOT a headache. In a little while, I’ll heat up the bathroom so I can take a shower and maybe the shower will help with the symptoms of whatever this is.
My day is going to end only a few hours later than it normally does, but it won’t be as relaxing until I get home. I can’t take the sleep supplements until just before I leave or I’ll fall asleep in the middle of the appointment.
But it’s what happens when the clergy is all volunteer, so I try not to make a fuss. I mean, they’re spending their evenings away from their families, so I need to respect that.
