I’ll check on that. Probably, but I’ve never thought about it before now because I’ve always been so careful with what got deleted. My recertification appointment is in a few minutes but I’ll check when I get back. I think they’re automatically backed up, but I’ll find out.

SMS Backup+

Can’t save everything, but I’ll never worry that changing to a new phone might mean losing entire, ongoing threads of texts.

SMS Backup+ links up to a GMail account of your choice, creates an “SMS” folder in that account, and periodically stows your SMS messages in that folder. I have messaged threads saved that date back to January of 2016.

SMS Backup+ can also be set to create a “Call log” folder in which it will store a record of every call to make, miss, receive or reject; including the number and duration. Multiple calls to or from the same number are saved as an ongoing email thread.
