I’m just going to leave that lying there until a sharper wit comes along.
In fifteen minutes, I will bestir the Student Driver, so we can get some errands accomplished before I run out of oomph.
I got back from Walmart and the bedroom light rather preoccupied me. Then it was trying to get the bed made and I wanted to put a night light in there, but the only outlet was behind something, so I’ve had to leave a lamp on. Blackout curtains, ya know.
So now the bed is made and all of a sudden I’ve run out of steam. I called AR, but no response, as usual. And since then, I’ve been sitting because. Pain.
Favorite Daughter and The Guy got the box. It had evidently been sitting in Longmont, probably waiting to see if anyone would miss it, until someone did. The email trace was on Saturday, so if it had been anywhere else in the system, they still wouldn’t have it. Unngh.
“Why mothers get gray.” (My Mother Said)
The envelope from my mother finally arrived. No luck on the box from Dover, but I haven’t checked the tracking.
All it says on Dover’s website is that it shipped on December 7. Good thing the only present in there is for Elen, USMC, and it was never going to get to Okinawa by Christmas.
But you know as well as I do that a package at any time is like Christmas! ;o]
Yes, exactly right. Maybe we’ll get the box from Dover by James’s birthday. Speaking of birthdays, Pat is 19 today.
Happy Tiwsday! Tiny kitteh lives in Sardinia.
Happy Birthday, Pat!!!
I need to go sort my pills. I’ve been watching “Sanditon” with Kris Marshall (of “Death In Paradise” fame) and did nothing while it was on. He is such a fine actor!
Now I need to get moving.
Kitteh is tired! The yawn first, then the falling over.
Good morning.
I’ll be back in a few. The pill sorting is calling me.
Kitten has a doggie friend.
Awww... so sweet!
Pills are done. The tea is ready, and here I sit. DVDs have to go back to the library today, but that’s the only thing on the agenda. If I thought I could change the lights in the bedroom without falling over, I would do so, but having my head tipped back causes such vertigo, it’s hard to deal with.
Don’t fall down. That would be bad!
We’re going to the library today, too. A science comic book Kathleen requested is finally in. We’ll also go to Walmart for a few last groceries.
DP is going Uptown somewhere to get his phone repaired. I suggested he also look for a birthday present for Pat.
Tom might show up. He was over on Sunday and mentioned that he was feeling as if he might be (ahem) sick today. We’ll see. He left his Nintendo thingie here on Sunday.
Happy birthday, Pat.
I guess it’s Tuesday. Happy Tuesday. Time to go back to bed?
So, kitteh is dog tired?
I think the dog is pretty tired of being hassled by the kitten.
Speaking of dogs, ours went another night without a seizure.
That’s exciting! And a relief, I’m sure.
I managed to replace the lights in the bedroom, but I had the entire bed to catch me if I lost my balance. (And fell the right way...) Since Chuck isn’t in a hurry, I may have to try to replace the kitchen lights, too, but it’s the kind where there are three screws holding the cover in place. I’m not very good with those because of the neuropathy in my fingertips.
So I’ll think about it. When I’m warm and fuzzy about it, I’ll fix it.
There is some housework that has to be done, but I don’t know if I’ll get to it today. I need to try, anyway.
Let’s hope Tom’s (ahem) sickness can be cured by a game on his Nintendo thingie with his birfday bruvver.
Congratulations on having to stand down one more night. It’s wonderful, actually. :o]
