I was looking at a video on YouTube on my phone, so I could text it to Asuncion and Rafaela, and there was an ad about a “North Carolina Curfew.” I looked it up on google, and it turns out we’ve had an 11:00 p.m. curfew for alcohol purchases since July!

A late night out for us is 8:30 ;-).

LOL! Who knew?? Here, you have to get your liquor in before 2300 every night except Sunday, when the place is closed. At least now, they can sell something besides 3.2% beer at Walmart and mini-marts. :o]

Dismally Inept Lawn Service is here sucking up all the leaves. What a dusty mess!

Bill probably knew. He lives uptown and keeps late hours.

Off to find shoes so I can take Pat to work and buy shampoo for Tom, who does have the family’s best hair, after all.

We’re back. I bought more toilet paper.

Now I’m going to nap with Jake for a while.

I got toilet paper last week. It’s a good thing, too, because while there was some this week, there wasn’t quite as much as last week, and as I walked down that aisle, all I could think of was a mental face palm.

So I’m good for now. But my list for next week is growing, and I have yet to decide if TP and dish detergent will be on it, but for sure, laundry detergent will!

Now, I’m going to take my silly self to bed and hope tomorrow is a much better day.

As one of my college friends used to call it, “ponka pie” is definitely a treat. However, I have to avoid all pumpkin spice everything that’s sold here (I’m still waiting for pumpkin spice gasoline - er - petrol) or I can’t handle anything pumpkin by the time Thanksgiving rolls around.

So talk of making dishes makes me think of what a dumb phrase that is, like making the bed.

Buy the dishes so you can put your effort into making the food.
