It sounds like this stuff is all over the place, and cautious folks are trying to vet it carefully before release, while the wackier folks are releasing the info to get the “scoop”.
I am remembering the scene from the lefty propaganda movie “All The President’s Men” where the Compost editor screams:
“When is somebody gonna go on the record in this story?”

Because Wiki is strongly Left-leaning, and most definitely does not like anything or anyone even remotely associated with conservatives.
