And anybody who criticized Bush’s invasion of Iraq got royally FLAMED - if not cancelled?
Live and learn. Plus I think a lot of it was just knowing the alternative was even worse.
I was a George W. Bush supporter and remain so now that he is powerless.
I am stunned that a Bush could support Joe Biden.
It makes me wonder how deep the power structure goes,
and how long any dissent could possibly survive.
At the time, we thought he was doing a good job.
Subsequent events have proven that we were wrong.
I recall thinking that “W” had good instincts but was taking some VERY bad advice FRom the Evil Inside the Beltway Establishment Poobahs.
In retrospect, he was probably being TOLD WHAT TO DO!
