Guys like Esper and some of the generals seem like derps.

They don't hold the operational commands. Pretty big tar brush you have though to think that troops deployed should those situations arise wouldn't do their duty.

I used to work at a consulting firm, and we had a standing joke that senior managers got shock treatments and partners got lobotomies because invariably upon reaching those levels, perfectly fine consultants would forget how to do anything useful. I rather imagine the military is similar.

Duty is not what’s involved in the situation I’m describing. We are talking about the civil authorities stealing an election, and whether the military would allow left wing authoritarians to take office or step in and assert a role of some kind. To do nothing might be said to follow the Constitution’s requirement of civilian control of the military. To act could be said to be needed to preserve the Constitution. If the upper levels are infested with Obama plants, what kind of actions can be realistically taken?

Can a Joint Chief of a service order his branch to install a president? What if some of his generals disagree? Who gives the order? The President who lost, or the one who was the beneficiary of fraud? What power do the rank and file have to do anything other than follow the orders of their superiors? And finally, what if soldiers disagree with the orders of their superiors on what, to them, is a coup, or an attack on other American citizens?

I don’t see how we can rely on the military to fix a fraudulent election. The Supreme Court could, but that would be because the military would now be required to follow the orders of the person that the Supreme Court says is President.

Crazy times. Thanks, Dems, for working to end the Republic. If we survive this, we need to work to prevent this situation happening ever again. There need to be a lot of arrests, the media included.
