I’m totally a techno-illiterate. However, I seem to recall that cell phones and computers were somehow compromised by the Awans and information was sent at least daily to Pakistan.
So I don’t find it odd that texts can be on the computer. And who knows when Hunter came in possession of the computer? Maybe someone gave it to him to remind him just how much dirt they had on him?

Through its Messages app, the Mac provides the same stream of text messages as the associated iPhone. As a Mac user, all my text messages are on my computer as well as my iPhone.
