Honestly, I believe the “THEY” are setting us up for the Third Existential Menace to scare us in to (more) submission to their authority in order to save us.

Well we know they exist but what are they? They could be alien but as I have stated before they may be being operated by AI. We have barely scratched the surface involving AI, Think about what our technology on it will be a hundred years from now. OR, it could also be ours but UFO sighting have been around for hundreds of years. AI could withstand the long journey through space and could also withstand extremely high speeds close to the speed of light, or faster as some have opined. 25 years ago we had bag phones, now we have super computers in our pockets. Yes there is this quirky thing we call physics, but only as we know it. What did we know 150 years ago?
We have definitely taken on some of the characteristics of the old Soviet Union in that everyone has at least one neighbor who is a snitch whose meaning in life is derived from righteously turning in people for anything they think is against some rule or that the neighbor thinks might make trouble for someone. Such folks think they are ingratiating themselves with the Authorities and making everyone follow all the rules. Women are more apt to be these people and their choices in elections tend more toward politicians who they think will make everyone “be nice,” and follow all the rules and make more rules to follow.

I said it was a problem for most, not necessarily me. This is based on numerous articles posted here and comments of the past. For example look at the responses here prior to my comment. The vast majority mock or make fun of the idea aliens might exist and have visited us. Many here in the past have came right out and said the idea of a living God and aliens are not compatible.
