Our local paper has a feature 100/75/50/25 years ago today. Last year featured a court case involving the local phone company cutting off service because someone was speaking German on the phone (remember this happened during WWI, the lawsuit continued after the war.) The case was finally settled and the German-speaking customer finally did get his phone back.

Sure you can call it election interference, but I don’t know how you would defend that claim.

Personally, I think if Facebook or Twitter don’t want to accept money to put up certain election ads, they don’t have to and the feds should have no say about it.
