I am thinking they can certainly censor any one of us peasants, but in censoring one of the nation’s largest newspapers they may have bitten off more than they can chew here.
This is what a Banana Republic looks like. Meanwhile, Senator Hawley is threatening to send an “official inquiry”.
Trump had almost four years to smack down the tech tyrants who had already been suppressing anything/everyone thats not leftist for years. Too late to act now.
Wasted opportunities.
You are dreaming. Mueller’s Democrats were fully in control of the “Trump” DOJ after Sessions recusal.
Twitter, Facebook, and Google all enjoy the legal protections afforded to a neutral PLATFORM that a biased PUBLISHER wouldn’t be able to get away with.
WAY past due time for that sh*t to come to a screeching halt.
They don’t even bother to hide their bias any more.
If THEY dont like what I talk about on the telephone, can they shut my phone off?
Well, maybe, just freaking maybe, The New York Post might start really digging the dirt up on the elites in the political world.
Imagine what a new view of reality might do for them!
China can out communist the Russians any day of the week. Their brand of communism almost makes the former Soviet union look tame by comparison.
China must be stopped. They’ve sneaked their way in our back door and are working to ruin and rule us.
Man, what a day! ACB rocks, Wolf Blitzer grilling Pelosi reruns, Hunter/Joe Biden scandal, tapes of Gov. Cuomo saying lockdowns based on FEAR not science, then Twitter and Facebook censor NY Post and they write editorial about it!!
Do. Not. Get. Cocky.
But holy crap, I’m grinning:)
Seems to me that Twitter agreed to receive legal exemptions from Big Government and is now a monopolistic big government crony, public utility.
...in a downright despotism opposition is dangerous whether the despotism is official or whether it is unofficial...
A community rates low on the Information scale when the press, radio, and other channels of communication are controlled by only a few people and when citizens have to accept what they are told.
See how a community trains its teachers
...these students are being taught to accept uncritically whatever they are told. Questions are not encouraged.
And if books and newspapers and the radio [and facebook and youtube and...] are officially controlled the people will read and accept exactly what the few in control want them to. Government censorship is one form of control. The newspaper that breaks the government censorship rule can be suspended. It is also possible for newspapers and other lines of communication to be controlled by private interests...

The newspapers of a real democracy meet these tests...
Newspaper checks.
1. Balance of coverage
2. Disclosure of source
3. Competence of staff
There is an Evangelical preacher who claims to be a prophet who stated a couple of months ago that “great corruption” would be exposed in the runup to the election.
I’m not in a position to say he’s tapped into the Almighty but he also accurately predicted that Trump would get another SCOTUS nominee.
It took George Washington 7 years to win his war.
Trump’s only had 4. And, I’d argue, he’s got a tougher war to fight.
Patience, grasshopper.
You successfully get elected President as an outsider, take on the Swamp, do a better job, then we’ll take your bitching seriously.

“You successfully get elected President as an outsider, take on the Swamp, do a better job, then well take your bitching seriously.”

If only Trump knew someone in such a position who could have done that for the last four years. Drat!
fascinating.
Sure you can call it election interference, but I don’t know how you would defend that claim.
Personally, I think if Facebook or Twitter don’t want to accept money to put up certain election ads, they don’t have to and the feds should have no say about it.
