b.) Burying him 'at sea'.
c.) No islamic mass jihad over his 'death'.
d.) The killing of Seal Team 6.
Nope. None of that ever made any sense.

Seems the historical we have always been tryin’ to do just that... hasn’t seemed to pan out in our favor. Perhaps a few battle wins here and there to keep up the hope. In the end, good, God will triumph over evil.

Another thing that was never satisfied for me...
MILINT released summary info on OBL during Operation Iraqi Storm.
OBL needed occasional kidney dialysis and owned his own “machine”.
The bulk and delicate nature of that machine made it unwieldy to move quickly when OBL needed to bug-out.
Efforts were underway by on-the-ground assets to leverage that machine in order to find or eliminate OBL.
The conclusion included an estimate that OBL, being in poor health, likely would not live beyond a year-18 months.
So, at this juncture, I wonder if OBL did die of kidney failure but the “legend” was kept alive to have a point of accountability in our never-ending war.
When it became apparent that Hillary/Obama needed something “military” in her bag for campaign purposes, did they find a body-double for the set-up and take-down?
The $152B was all Benghazi weapons-trafficking cover.
Tied to ST6 because of the source of the weapon used.
I’m inclined to believe that ST6 was targeted for its success in theater as much as the OBL take-down.
One last observation RE ST6...I would believe that when an OP is finished, the interdiction team (ST6) would simply debrief and leave the rest to MILINT and State (Clowns).
Someone made the ID at Abbatobad, ST6 said “OK. We’re out for debrief.” and whoever was terminated was out of their hands.
The teams are disciplined enough to process “rumors” in terms of their OPs (OPSEC).
“Rumors” would be processed in the same way: Vini, Vidi, Vici.
